Tyrod Taylor: Signed with the Los Angeles Chargers on a two-year contract. (3/13/2019)

  • Tyrod Taylor had an interesting market during his time as a free agent. The Miami Dolphins were the team who had the most interest in Taylor but Taylor, like Teddy Bridgewater, passed on joining the Miami Dolphins. Taylor heads to the Los Angeles Chargers where he will serve as a better option as a backup over Geno Smith (now a free agent) and Cardale Jones. The plus about this deal is that Taylor re-joins with his former Buffalo coach Anthony Lynn.

Teddy Bridgewater: Re-signed with the New Orleans Saints on a one-year contract. (3/15/19)

Josh McCown:

Ryan Fitzpatrick: Signed with the Miami Dolphins on a two-year contract. (3/17/2019)

  • The Miami Dolphins were in play on both Teddy Bridgewater and Tyrod Taylor but both decided heading to Miami this offseason. The Miami Dolphins backup plan is a declining Ryan Fitzpatrick. Fitzpatrick comes to Miami as the next starter who will bridge the gap until next offseason where the Dolphins will be in the market for a quarterback.

Robert Griffin III:

Derek Anderson: Re-signed with the Buffalo Bills on a one-year contract. (12/31/2019)

  • Derek Anderson, for now, is returning to Buffalo as a veteran piece to upcoming second-year quarterback Josh Allen and Matt Barkley. With positive production from Barkley late in the season, the Bills could very likely see Derek Anderson as expendable should they choose to enter 2019 with two quarterbacks instead of three.

Matt Schaub:

Matt Cassel:

Brock Osweiler:

Nate Sudfeld:

  • Geno Smith:
  • Brett Hundley: Signed with the Arizona Cardinals on a one-year contract. (3/14/2019)
  • Joe Webb:
  • Mark Sanchez:
  • Josh Johnson:
  • Brandon Weeden:
  • David Fales:
  • Sean Mannion: Signed with the Minnesota Vikings on a one-year contract. (4/7/2019)
  • Tom Savage:
  • Austin Davis:
  • Taylor Heinecke:
  • Kevin Hogan:
  • Trevor Siemian: Signed with the New York Jets on a one-year contract. (3/19/2019)
  • Garrett Gilbert:
  • E.J. Manuel: Signed with the Kansas City Chiefs on a one-year contract. (2/22/2019)
  • Paxton Lynch: Signed a futures/reserve contract with Seattle Seahawks.
