Ball State Cardinals: Red-shirt junior quarterback Riley Neal announces transfer to Vanderbilt – Steve Wiltfong on Twitter
Quarterback Riley Neal will transfer to Vanderbilt as a graduate-transfer which will allow him to play during the 2019 college season. Riley Neal spent four seasons at Ball State which saw him battle injuries and passing struggles but his 2018 campaign proved a turnaround. In 2018, Neal threw for 1,917 yards, 11 touchdowns, and 4 interceptions. Heading to Vanderbilt, Neal will battle for the starting quarterback position against Mo Hasan and Parker Thome but, he could very well be the front-runner for the starting job this early.
Georgia Bulldogs: Freshman quarterback Justin Fields to transfer from Georgia – ESPN
There is a lot of misconstrued details about this story but, this is what is currently happening. Justin Fields is at practice with the Georgia Bulldogs who are currently preparing for their Sugar Bowl game vs. Texas on New Year’s but, Fields has yet to tell the University of his plans to depart from the school. According to ESPN’s Mark Schlabach, Fields will look into seeing what is “out there” which will decide whether or not he will transfer from the school or return in 2019. Notable schools that have been mentioned is Oklahoma, Florida State, and Ohio State. We will continue to provide updates once more is released. Stay tuned.
