Selection Reactions:

Washington Redskins (114th Selection): Samaje Perine, Oklahoma, Running Back

  • The Washington Redskins has had a lot of questions at running back regarding Matt Jones and his injury history. Samaje Perine is an explosive running back that can move the pile and has great breakaway speed. The addition of Perine to Washington likely ends the run of Jones in Washington. (Grade: B+)

Los Angeles Chargers (113th Selection): Rayshawn Jenkins, Miami, Defensive Back

  • The Chargers finally addressed their defense after going three straight offensive selections. Defensive back is a much need for this team that is still looking for the replacement of Eric Weddle. Miami Hurricanes, Rayshawn Jenkins lands perfectly with the Chargers and will be able to compete more at free safety than strong safety during practices. There could be a possibility that Addae could transition to strong safety. (Grade: A)

Dallas Cowboys (133rd Selection): Ryan Switzer, North Carolina, Wide Receiver

  • The Chicago Bears wished they could have traded back into the 4th round to select Switzer. Ryan Switzer is an excellent slot receiver with tremendous speed. Switzer also has experience in kick and punt returns while at North Carolina. This is an excellent depth addition for the Cowboys. (Grade: A)

Pittsburgh Steelers (135th Selection): Joshua Dobbs, Tennessee, Quarterback

  • Joshua Dobbs to Pittsburgh could mean trouble to Landry Jones. Landry Jones has had spot starts over the past couple of years due to injuries to Big Ben and has performed under expectations. Joshua Dobbs lands in a situation where he will compete with Landry Jones this offseason for the backup role to Big Ben. Joshua Dobbs could be the Steelers quarterback of the future. (Grade: A+)
