Round 2 Selection Thoughts:

Jacksonville Jaguars (34th Selection): Cam Robinson, Alabama, Offensive Tackle

  • Offensive lineman is a position the Jaguars need. The offensive line as of late has failed drastically in Jacksonville and upgrading their offensive line with Cam Robinson is a huge plus. This is a huge plus if you are Blake Bortles & new running back Leonard Fournette. (Grade: A+)

Carolina Panthers (40th Selection): Curtis Samuel, Ohio State, Wide Receiver

  • Great selection for the Panthers, the Panthers needed to replace wide receiver Ted Ginn Jr. who left for division rival New Orleans Saints. Samuel will have that same role that Ginn had in Carolina (Grade: B+)

Philadelphia Eagles (43rd Selection): Sidney Jones, Washington, Cornerback

  • The Philadelphia Eagles are a very needy team at cornerback as they lost Nolan Carroll to the Cowboys. Sidney Jones will more than likely redshirt his rookie season with the Eagles after undergoing surgery to repair his Achilles injury. At the draft, Adam Schefter said there is a chance he can be ready by October. We will wait and see. (Grade: A)

Detroit Lions (53rd Selection): Teez Tabor, Florida, Cornerback

  • The Detroit Lions have been struggling mightily at defensive back for the last couple of years. Teez Tabor’s draft stock bombed so much during his downfall performance during the pre-draft workouts. Tabor was rumored at one time to be a late 1st round pick but falls here to the Lions in the mid-second round. (Grade: B)
