According to Adam Schefter of ESPN, Cincinnati Bengals offensive lineman Alex Redmond has been suspended the first four games of the 2019 NFL Season for violating the league’s performance-enhancing drugs policy.
Since coming to Cincinnati as an undrafted free agent in 2016, his time with the team has been up and down. It was not until this past season Redmond branched out as an eventual starter. Last season, he played in 15 games for Cincinnati and even played through injuries during the season.
During the offseason, Cincinnati added players to their offensive line in John Miller and Jonah Williams. Should Redmond land make the 53-man roster it is very possible he will land a backup role with the team.
