Minor League Report (May 17th, 2019): Joey Bart, Ryan Feierabend & Cal Quantrill

Starting May 17th, 2019, 365 Sports Network will be adding a new addition to the site called the “Minor League Report”. This section will showcase all the biggest news updates coming from MiLB. Below is our first installment of the new section.

Joey Bart (SF Giants): San Francisco Giants top prospect Joey Bart is making progress in his rehab (hand) and is expected to play in extended spring training games in 10 days. Joey Bart sustained a fractured hand back on April 15th and was expected to miss 4-6 weeks of the season. This season, Bart is currently playing at the Giants A.Advanced team San Jose Giants where he is batting .270 with 2 home runs and 8 RBI’s. (Source: Andrew Baggarly)


Ryan Feierabend (Blue Jays): The Toronto Blue Jays will recall pitcher Ryan Feierabend from AAA-Buffalo and will start on Saturday vs. Chicago White Sox. Ryan Feierabend, 33, has not played in the major leagues since 2014 when he was a member of the Texas Rangers. This season, Feierabend is posting an impressive 2-0, 2.70 ERA in 16 innings at AAA-Buffalo.


Cal Quantrill (Padres): The San Diego Padres will promote Cal Quantrill once again for another spot this season as he will start Saturday vs. Pittsburgh.
