The Nathan Peterman Saga in Buffalo is now officially over. The team announced that they have released the struggled quarterback tonight according to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network.
Nathan Peterman, 24, was drafted by the Buffalo Bills in the 2017 NFL Draft in the 5th round, 171st overall. Peterman was drafted as a development piece but failed to elevate into much during his tenure in Buffalo.
The last straw for Peterman in Buffalo was two weeks ago where he continued to do more harm than good for the team as he turned the ball over three times vs. Chicago which lead to the team signing Matt Barkley earlier last week.
Nathan Peterman will now be subject to waivers. Peterman could very well resurface this season but his chances of ever becoming a future starter have run its course at this point in time.
