Bengals RB Giovani Bernard Out 2-4 Weeks With MCL Sprain

According to NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero, Cincinnati Bengals running back Giovani Bernard will be sidelined 2-4 weeks with an MCL Sprain.

The Cincinnati Bengals are flip-flopping injuries as second-year running back Joe Mixon is returning from injury and now Bernard sustained a knee injury. In Mixon’s absence, Bernard had solid performances against Atlanta and Carolina but fell off in the last two outing’s vs. Baltimore and Indianapolis.

With Bernard set to miss close to a month, the Bengals will now turn to either Thomas Rawls or Mark Walton to back Joe Mixon. The Bengals play the Dolphins on Sunday.
