Today, the Orlando Apollos announced the signing of two quarterbacks to their roster, B.J. Daniels and Kevin Anderson.
BJ Daniels: B.J. Daniels is a local guy who played for the South Florida Bulls from 2008-2012. Following his college career, Daniels was drafted in the 2013 NFL Draft in the 7th round by the 49ers but did not crack their main roster, he was waived in October of 2013. Daniels would later be signed by the Seahawks where did not crack their roster at quarterback, more so at wide receiver but even still that did not save his spot. From 2015-2017 Daniels would jump around from team to team until he spent a cup of tea in the CFL and has now returned stateside.
Kevin Anderson: Kevin Anderson is getting his first opportunity at professional football with the Apollos. Anderson recently graduated from Fordham in 2017 and never got a real shot in the NFL. Anderson comes to the Apollo in a learning role and be a backup entering their first season.
