UNLV Rebels sophomore quarterback Armani Rogers will be out six weeks due to a broken toe suffered in Saturday’s game against Arkansas State.
In Saturday’s game, Rogers was roughed up badly by the Arkansas State defense as they were able to pick off the sophomore three times. Rogers, is a great scrambling quarterback but that does not back his game as a consistent passer. This season, Rogers has passed for 369 yards, 6 touchdowns, 4 interceptions while completing a terrible 41.5% of his passes.
With Armani out, the Rebels will turn to former Cal transfer Max Gilliam. UNLV hosts New Mexico and Utah State in the coming weeks.
