GLORY Kickboxing 58: Chicago Event Results (Superfight Series)

Tonight, Glory Kickboxing holds their 58th show at the Sears Centre in Chicago, Illinois. GLORY 58 is stacked card which features a middleweight championship headliner between middleweight champion Alex Pereira taking on Simon Marcus. Also, Benjamin Adegbuyi takes on Jahfarr Wilnis in a heavyweight clash.

In the Superfight Series, Junior Tafa meets Haze Wilson and two welterweight qualifying semi-final bouts are also taking place. You can follow the event results below once they become finalized.

Middleweight Championship: (C) Alex Pereira defeated Simon Marcus via unanimous decision

Heavyweight Bout: Benjamin Adegbuyi defeated Jahfarr Wilnis via unanimous decision

Welterweight Bout: Omari Boyd defeated Richard Abraham via split-decision

Featherweight Bout: Anvar Boynazarov defeated Bailey Sugden via split-decision

*Welterweight Tournament Qualifications Semi-Finals

Heavyweight Bout: Junior Tafa defeated Haze Wilson via 1st round TKO (punch)

Middleweight Bout: Matt Baker defeated Thomas Jenkins via 3rd round TKO (punch)

*Welterweight Bout: Troy Jones defeated Casey Greene via 1st round KO (head kick)

*Welterweight Bout: Mike Lemaire defeated Omar Moreno via unanimous decision

 

GLORY 58 Event Notes:

In what was supposed to be a welterweight tournament final between Mike Lemaire and Troy Jones. Mike Lemaire could not continue on due to injuries and replacement Justin Moss was not given a medical clerance. Troy Jones would by default win the four-man welterweight tournament.
