Redskins RB Derrius Guice Tears ACL, Done For 2018 Season
This truly hurts, it was first reported that Guice was able to avoid an MCL sprain but it was later determined and confirmed that he sustained a torn ACL.
Guice was set to become the starting running back and was a key piece in a revamped offense which features Alex Smith. With Guice out for 2018, the Redskins will now have to look at a replacement back and some names that could be mentioned is former Redskin Alfred Morris, Orleans Darkwa and possibly Adrian Peterson. For now, the Redskins will continue to work with possible trade bait Samaje Perine, Rob Kelley, Byron Marshall and Kapri Bibbs.
