49ers Jimmie Ward and Joe Staley Both Sustain Injuries In Loss To Philadelphia

According to ESPN’s Nick Wagoner, Jimmie Ward suffered a broken forearm against Philadelphia and will be out indefinitely.

It was a very hurty week as the 49ers also lost Joe Staley who they fear suffered an orbital bone injury. Jimmie Ward was replaced by new starting defensive back Adrian Colbert and Joe Staley was replaced by Zane Beatles. Nick Wagoner reports that Jimmie Ward will be missing an extended amount of time. Joe Staley even with a fractured orbital bone expects to play again this season.
