Chargers Matt Slauson Done For The Season With Torn Bicep
Los Angeles Chargers head coach Anthony Lynn confirmed in a media conference on Monday that Matt Slauson is done for the year with a torn bicep.
In the media conference, Anthony Lynn said that rookie offensive lineman Dan Feeney will resume the season as guard for the Los Angeles Chargers in the placement of Slauson. Dan Feeney, 23, was the Chargers third-round selection in this past April’s draft and was a starting offensive lineman in the Chargers week 1 loss to the Broncos. In the game against Denver, Dan Feeney missed his blocking assignment which lead to the Chargers getting the game-tying field goal blocked.
Furthermore, Anthony Lynn said that the Chargers are looking at multiple offensive linemen which could indicate a health concern in Joe Barksdale who missed the Broncos game due to a lingering foot injury. The Chargers hit the road in Week 8 and fly to Foxboro and meet the Patriots. Listen to the full media conference below.
