Dallas Cowboys Release Cornerback Nolan Carroll
Back in March, the Dallas Cowboys signed Nolan Carroll to a 3-year, $10 million dollar deal with $3 million in guaranteed money.
It has been a very rocky start to the Cowboys season and including their depth at the defensive back position. Earlier in the season, Nolan Carroll sustained a concussion which opened up the door to Jourdan Lewis to take his role and he has since ran with it and became a starting cornerback for the team.
Jourdan Lewis’s emergence closed the door on Carroll’s career with the Dallas Cowboys. Now a free agent, Nolan Carroll will look to latch on to a team who is willing to give him a chance. Nolan Carroll is nothing more than veteran depth at this point and injury concerns will also be a concern.
