UCF Knights: Jawon Hamilton Done For The Year After Leg Surgery

Central Florida running back Jawon Hamilton underwent season-ending leg surgery on Monday and has officially been ruled for the remainder of the season.

Jawon Hamilton sustained his leg injury in the first quarter of Saturday’s blowout victory over Maryland. UCF head coach Scott Frost said on Monday that he did not know the full extent of the injury and we are still in the dark on what exactly the full extent of the injury entering Thursday.

The Orlando Sentinel stated in their article on the injury of Hamilton that, Hamilton is eligible to get an injury-waiver from the NCAA and will be able to medical redshirt this year. Jawon Hamilton is currently in his sophomore year with the Knights.

Staff at 365 Sports Network wishes Hamilton the best in his recovery.
