According to Field Yates, the New England Patriots worked out former Chicago Bears linebacker Lamarr Houston this week.

Lamarr Houston was cut by the Chicago Bears on September 6th after being placed on injured reserve on September 2nd. Since being cut by the Chicago Bears, Houston has taken visits as it was reported that he visted the New Orleans Saints this week as well.

If signed by the New England Patriots, the injury-prone will likely settle for at linebacker but could also be a shift to defensive end like he was when he was a member of the Oakland Raiders. We are shocked that the linebacker-needy Miami Dolphins are not taking looks at Houston.
