New Orleans Saints Shopping Defensive Back Kenny Vaccaro

According to Jason LaCanfora, The New Orleans Saints are currently shopping defensive back, Kenny Vaccaro.

Kenny Vaccaro has been a focal point in the Saints secondary since being drafted out of Texas in 2014. In the last couple of drafts, the New Orleans Saints have decided to go the route of selecting multiple defensive backs in 2016 and 2017 drafts respectively. The Saints are very crowded in the backfield with Vaccaro, Bell, Williams and Rafael Bush.

Trading away Kenny Vaccaro right now could benefit the Saints as they will be entering a 2018 offseason with expiring contracts of Drew Brees, Chase Daniel, Senio Kelemete and Alex Okafor. After likely locking up Drew Brees and possibly bringing back Chase Daniel, Kenny Vaccaro could ask for a high demand but the Saints are possibly not looking at now dropping a lot into Vaccaro which leads to the current trade rumors. If the Saints trade Vaccaro for draft picks they could land a 4th round selection at best or at worst a 5th or a 6th. We will continue to cover more once more news breaks.
