Iowa State: Quarterback Devon Moore Tears ACL, Done For 2017 Season

After speaking with The Des Moines Register, Devon Moore‘s father announced that his son has torn his ACL and will miss the 2017 College Football season. Devon Moore’s father said that his son sustained his ACL injury in a non-contact drill at practice this week.

Devon Moore, 18, is a three-star recruit from Waterloo, Iowa. Devon Moore was ranked as the 57th overall quarterback by Scout as well as the 27th dual-threat quarterback by 24-7 sports. Devon Moore was bound to sit out the season as he sits behind starting quarterback Jacob Park and backups Kyle Kempt and Zeb Noland. Devon Moore will look to push for a backup role once he comes back from his injury.
