After one season with the Philadelphia Eagles, third-year wide receiver Dorial Green-Beckham was given his pink slip out of Philadelphia.
This offseason the Eagles really took it as a priority to give quarterback Carson Wentz more reliable targets and they found that in Alshon Jeffery and Torrey Smith. The addition of Jeffery and Smith really started to crowd the receiving core which left doubt in Green-Beckham cracking the team’s roster. With doubt really brewing outside of OTA’s and minicamp the Eagles really did Green-Beckham a favor in cutting him before and not during training camp.
Dorial Green-Beckham, 24, will now be looking to latch on to his third NFL team since being drafted by the Titans in the second round of the 2015 NFL Draft. Finding a new home should not be much a problem for him as there are a few teams that could be on his radar such as the New York Jets, Kansas City Chiefs and Carolina Panthers could be potential suitors. Either way, any team he signs with he is no better than a #3 on a roster at this current juncture in his career.
