We are starting something completely new here on and that is we are going to make an daily quick links blog that will feature news from the NFL, CFL and Arena/Indoor Football League’s. Here are your news and rumors from February 13th, 2017.

 National Football League

  • Los Angeles Rams (9:30 AM): According to Alden Gonzalez of, there is a real shot that the Los Angeles Rams do move on from wide receiver Kenny Britt. Kenny Britt has had an up and down time with the Los Angeles Rams and you can blame a huge majority of his down performance due in part of the poor quarterback play in St.Louis/Los Angeles at the respective time. But even with the poor quarterback play he was able to muster his best season in his career this past year where he reached 1,000 yards receiving. If the Rams do indeed move on from Britt he could be solid addition to a team looking to add receiver depth. We would expect the Philadelphia Eagles to be a potential landing spot for him.

  • Matt Schaub (9:20 AM): According to Impending free agent Matt Schaub wants to go to a team where he will be able to compete for the starting quarterback role. Matt Schaub, 35, is a shell of his former self and finding a team to latch on with to potentially start could be troublesome. Many predict that he might follow former offensive coordinator and now 49ers head coach Kyle Shanahan and that may be a possibility. I think it will be good to have a veteran presence at quarterback but the team should completely rebuild at quarterback in the draft.
