Braxton Burmeister Flips Commit And Will Join The Oregon Ducks

After announcing his commitment to the University of Arizona, Braxton Burmeister announced that he will flip his commitment and will join the Oregon Ducks.

Braxton Burmeister us currently ranked as a three star recruit by ESPN and a four star recruit by 24-7 Sports. Braxton Burmeister was heavily recruited by a number of Pac-12 teams including Arizona, Colorado, California, Oregon State and Washington. It was said that during the recruitment process Braxton was interested in wanting to join the Oregon Ducks but, no offer was ever handed to Braxton with Mark Helfrich was leading the Ducks.

It is now a new era for the Oregon Ducks as they are now with a brand new head coach in Willie Taggart and their new offense that will be ran by David Reaves. The Oregon Ducks are going into spring with the biggest question, who will be their quarterback in 2017? The Ducks will be losing quarterback Dakota Prukop, due to the end of his eligibility and is now headed to the NFL. With Prukop gone it leaves Justin Herbert, Travis Jonsen, Taylor Alie and you can now add Braxton Burmeister to the list.

Braxton Burmeister will enroll early to Oregon and will be taking part in spring practices in hopes to land the starting role as a true freshman for the Oregon Ducks in 2017.
