NFL Head Coaching Updates: January 10th-11th, 2017

Below you can find all of the head coaching and coaching rumors going on in the National Football League on January 10th and the 11th, 2017.


Buffalo Bills

  • Vic Carucci wrote that the Buffalo Bills are “zeroing in” on Panthers defensive coordinator Sean McDermott. (January 10th)
  • Sal Capaccio said on WGR 550 Buffalo that if Panthers defensive coordinator Sean McDermott becomes the Bills next head coach he could look to former Chargers head coach Mike McCoy as offensive coordinator. (January 10th)
  • Bills defensive coordinator Sean McDermott will have an second interview with the Bills this morning. (January 11th)

 

Oakland Raiders

  • Vic Tafur announced that the Oakland Raiders have promoted quarterback’s coach Todd Downing to offensive coordinator. The Raiders ended up parting ways with Bill Musgrave. (January 11th)

 

Denver Broncos

  • ESPN Broncos beat writer Jeff Legwold predicts that current Atlanta Falcons offensive coordinator Kyle Shanahan is the leading candidate for the teams head coaching position. (January 11th)
  • Miami Dolphins defensive coordinator Vance Joseph is currently in Denver meeting with the Broncos. (January 11th | 9:30 AM)
  • According to Mike Klis of 9 Denver, the Broncos are expected to hand the head coaching job to Vance Joseph. (January 11th | 10:00 AM)

 

Los Angeles Rams

  • The Los Angeles Rams will be interviewing Washington Redskins
