According to Speaking of the Devils Podcast, Arizona State’s Kalen Ballage will return to school for his senior year and final year of eligibility.
Kalen Ballage is coming off a very successful Junior season in which saw score 8 total touchdowns against the Texas Tech Red Raiders in Week 2. Down the stretch of the season Ballage showed off that he is more than a solid runner. Ballage also showed that he be a receiving back as he finished the season with 469 receiving yards at season’s end.
Kalen Ballage’s decision to return to school probably was due to the amount of talent he would be behind in the 2017 NFL Draft. The current running back class has Fournette (LSU), Dalvin Cook (FSU), Christian McCaffery (Stanford), D’Onta Foreman (Texas) and Samaje Perine (Oklahoma).
With Kalen Ballage returning for his final season, he could return for another big workload in the backfield at Arizona State and their option offense. Kalen Ballage could be looked at as a draft prospect that can land around the second or third rounds in 2018.
