The Houston Chronicle has reported that Texas A&M quarterback Trevor Knight is been officially ruled out the rest of the season due to a shoulder injury.
Trevor Knight sustained his injured shoulder this past weekend during the Aggies 35-28 loss to Mississippi State. Trevor Knight left the game early in the second quarter when he landed on his shoulder, sidelining him for the rest of the game and the rest of the season. Knight finished the game with a five completions for forty-five yards and no touchdowns and no interceptions. Knight was replaced by junior quarterback Jake Hubenak for the remainder of the game.
Trevor Knight was a big pivotal factor in the success on offense for the Aggies this season. Trevor Knight concludes his Junior season with 1,911 yards passing, 13 touchdowns and 3 interceptions while leading the Aggies to an 7-1 record.
Now 7-2 and likely kicked out of the College Football Playoff, Texas A&M will now role with Jake Hubenak as their starting quarterback as they wrap up the season with Ole Miss, UTSA and LSU remaining on their schedule.
