Paul Daley Forced Out Of Bout Against Derek Anderson

Breaking news, Paul “Semtex” Daley has been forced out of his main card fight against Derek Anderson.

The news out of the Daley camp is that weight cutting issues have been the reason behind the last minute news. The weight-cut issues became the cause of concern yesterday when Daley did not show up to the weigh-ins as he was still in the process of cutting the weight for the fight. Paul Daley’s opponent Derek Anderson made the weight during the weigh-in’s.

This is not the only bout to have been scrapped from the event as Marloes Coenen vs. Talita Nogueira was scrapped due to Nogueira missing weight by 5.6 pounds exactly. Bellator has made the decision to promote Neiman Gracie vs. Rudy Bears bout up to the main card.

Bellator President Scott Coker has not made an announcement on if the bout will be rescheduled for a different event or if it will be a fight they will move on from. We will provide more information on this and around the clock coverage of Bellator 163: McGeary vs. Davis.
