The Indianapolis Colts have confirmed that wide receiver Donte Moncrief will be out up to 6-weeks with a fractured shoulder blade.
This is a big blow to an Indianapolis team that is starting the season 0-2. The Colts are a team that need all the weapons they can get if they are looking to rebound in the coming weeks, but they will have to do it without Moncrief. Donte Moncrief sustained the injury in Sunday’s game against the Denver Broncos. The Indianapolis Colts were happy to hear that the injury to Moncrief will not require surgery and bed rest is in his immediate future.
With the Colts down one receiver the team has announced that they have signed Devin Street of the Cowboy practice squad to replace Moncrief. Also, the Colts depth chart has been updated and Quan Bray will now move up in the depth chart and Street will follow right behind him and will be a depth receiver.
The Colts are at home next week against the San Diego Chargers.
