Florida State head coach Jimbo Fisher has confirmed that quarterback Sean Maguire will be out up to 4 weeks with a foot injury.
Sean Maguire sustained the injury during practice on Wednesday and all of the information was reported back to Sean and the media today. It came back that he has a fracture in his foot. Earlier this afternoon it was announced that Maguire will undergo surgery immediately and will be sidelined up to four weeks, missing week one of the season.
With the bone fracture costing Maguire week one the Seminoles will now turn to freshman, IMG Academy’s Deondre Francois. The Florida State Seminoles kickoff the 2016 College Football Season taking on the Ole Miss Rebels in what will be a brouhaha to kickoff the year.
