Aaron Wilson of the Houston Chronicle reported that Indiana Hoosiers quarterback Nate Sudfeld has visited the Houston Texans.
Nate Sudfeld has been one of the NFL Draft’s overlooked players throughout the process due in fact that he has work to do in his throwing mechanics. Nate Sudfeld is the right size that most NFL teams look at in quarterback and plus his long-arm is right on que and despite 6’4” he is a decent mobile quarterback.
Sudfeld is more than likely a project at the next level and if the Texas are serious enough and are able to snag him either in the later rounds in the draft or as a UDFA he can be solid backup in the league in the coming years. Nexus Sports Network staff expects Sudfeld to be a Day 3 quarterback and could likely fall to the 6th round. Our staff also predicts teams like Houston, Detroit, San Diego and the Jets to have/should have some sort of interest in him.
