Oregon’s Vernon Adams Not Getting Any Pre-Draft Looks?

After becoming the MVP of the East-West Shrine I thought that Vernon Adams could be one of those underdog quarterbacks that could be a draft steal but most teams think differently. According to San Francisco Chronicle writer Eric Branch, Vernon Adams has not had any private workout or visit with any NFL team.

We are just one week out from the 2016 NFL Draft and the former Eastern Washington and Oregon Ducks standout quarterback Vernon Adams Jr. has yet to be invited for a workout by a NFL team. Adams game film is very unique and very self-explanatory he is an undersized fast and quick quarterback that can make great throws but his ball placement could use some touching up. But are these flaws the reason why? I can see yes, but what about his injury with playing with a broken thumb? Thou he was able to play well with the broken thumb NFL teams could see this as a source of concern.

The talent is there with Vernon Adams but he is not a quarterback who I want to snag in the middle rounds of the NFL Draft. Adams is currently ranked as 7th round-UDFA quarterback on our quarterback list.
